The Travel and Tourism Research Association – Canada (TTRA – Canada) invited Lydia Zorn, Tourism Expert, to moderate their Keynote panel in the 2019 TTRA Canada Chapter Annual Conference. The theme of the conference was Moving Forward.  The conference motivated tourism researchers to be forward thinkers; to rediscover Canada’s tourism industry through various lenses that acknowledge the past while providing guidance for our future.

The 2019 conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, highlighted the path ahead, focusing on new ways of thinking about tourism in order to capitalize on emerging technologies, methodologies, and societal changes.

Lydia Zorn, a Workshop and Synectics expert, also ran a two hour workshop session at the 2019 TTRA Canada Chapter Annual Conference in which she guided conference delegates on how to problem solve and generate ideas through proven methods and cognitive processes.  The purpose of the session was to empower delegates and take these skills back with them to their employment and apply them to their own businesses.
